Industry Visionary to Deliver Keynote Speech at World's First Virtual Design Automation Exhibition
CAMPBELL, Calif. - January 21, 2002 - Virtual DACafé, the world's first virtual electronic design automation tradeshow, is pleased to announce the participation of Alberto Sangiovanni Vincentelli, who will deliver a filmed keynote address viewable by all registered show attendees at the April 22 - April 25, 2002 virtual event.

Sangiovanni Vincentelli currently holds the Edgar L. and Harold H. Buttner Chair of EECS at the University of California at Berkeley, serves as the chief technology adviser for Cadence Design Systems and founded Cadence Berkeley Research Labs, an advanced technology research group. He co-founded Cadence Design Systems, Inc. as well as Synopsys, Inc. and is member of the board of directors for Cadence, as well as of the board of another three companies in the electronic industry. He consults extensively with electronic system and integrated circuit companies.
